By accessing, downloading, installing, or using SoulCircle ("the App," "Service," or "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules applicable to specific features. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SoulCircle.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use SoulCircle. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 13 years old; (b) you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement; (c) all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete; (d) you will maintain the accuracy of such information; (e) your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
SOULCIRCLE IS A PEER SUPPORT AND SOCIAL CONNECTION PLATFORM ONLY. THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, THERAPY, COUNSELING, OR ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES. SoulCircle uses artificial intelligence for questionnaire analysis, group matching, and content moderation. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT: - AI systems are inherently imperfect and may produce errors - AI matching algorithms do not guarantee compatibility or safety - AI content moderation may fail to detect harmful content - AI may incorrectly flag or remove legitimate content - We make no guarantees about the accuracy of AI-generated results
SoulCircle connects you with other users who are complete strangers. WE DO NOT VERIFY, SCREEN, BACKGROUND CHECK, OR VOUCH FOR ANY USER. You acknowledge that: - Other users may misrepresent themselves - Interactions may result in emotional distress or harm - We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the actions of any user - YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH INTERACTING WITH OTHER USERS We strongly recommend never sharing personal identifying information or meeting users in person.
You agree not to: - Post harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing content - Impersonate any person or entity - Engage in stalking, harassment, or bullying - Share sexually explicit content - Promote violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities - Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices - Transmit viruses or harmful code - Violate any applicable laws or regulations We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion.
SoulCircle offers a freemium model with one free group. Premium subscriptions provide access to additional groups and features. - Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period - Manage and cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings - Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies - We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOULCIRCLE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: - Emotional distress or psychological harm from user interactions - Harm resulting from reliance on information obtained through the Service - Harm resulting from AI errors or inaccuracies - Unauthorized access to your account or personal information - Any damages exceeding the amounts you have paid to us in the past 12 months
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoulCircle and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
